Challenge Timer & Bullhead
Citizen's 1970s automatic chronographs, including the crown-and-pushers-up "Bullhead".
Citizen introduced its first automatic chronograph caliber, the 8110, in the early 1970s. Watches built on it were sold under the Challenge Timer name, and the versions with the crown and pushers on top of the case are nicknamed "Bullhead" by collectors because the layout resembles a bull's horns.
Panda and reverse-panda dials, flyback chronograph function and bold 1970s case shapes make these some of the most collected vintage Citizens.
